Adam is an experienced Associate fire engineering consultant with over 8 years’ experience in fire engineering, and leads Joule Group’s Belfast team.
Adam holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Ulster and is an Associate member of the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE). After graduating with degrees in both Civil Engineering and Fire Safety Engineering, Adam worked for two years in Dublin before relocating to Belfast where he has been based since.
He has experience of a wide range of projects across the UK and Ireland but with a particular expertise in the fire safety design of complex residential developments, mixed-use buildings, educational facilities, industrial/storage facilities and office/commercial developments.
Adam also has extensive experience with External Wall Fire Risk Assessment, undertaking FRAEWs using the PAS9980 methodology for a variety of buildings, including working with the Scottish Government in the development of the Single Building Assessment guidance document to assist in the delivery of the Housing (Cladding Remediation)(Scotland) Bill.
