Karl in his current role leads the External Wall discipline within Joule Group. Combining façade & fire knowledge he provides technical authority strengthened by a background in design, construction, compliance, testing and managing major complex residential projects.
Karl’s career spans façade design, installation methodologies, and engineering solutions, including the delivery of complex, multi-storey façade projects. He began his professional journey after studying Architectural Technology, designing blast- and ballistic-resistant façades for secure and defence-related projects. He progressed into senior façade roles, leading design development, compliance, and project delivery through to completion.
In 2018, Karl completed a Master’s Degree in Façade Engineering through the CWCT-led programme at UWE Bristol.
