Major Utility Tunnel Project
Joule Group was appointed to support the delivery of a major underground infrastructure project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The scheme involved the development of multiple utility tunnels forming part of a large-scale strategic development, designed to accommodate critical services including water, power and communications infrastructure.
Working within a fast-paced and complex project environment, Joule Group provided specialist fire and life safety consultancy alongside property protection advisory services to help safeguard these critical assets. Our team worked closely with the wider design team through concept design development, supporting the review and coordination of fire and life safety provisions to ensure a robust and practical design approach.
The project underwent extensive internal and external review processes, with Joule Group providing technical input to support the successful progression of the concept design phase and its subsequent advancement into procurement and detailed design.
