Six Flags Qiddiya

Qiddiya Investment Company and AtkinsRéalis, have delivered Six Flags Qiddiya City, the first Six Flags theme park in Saudi Arabia and the first to be built entirely outside North America. Located approximately 40km from Riyadh, the landmark development represents a major milestone in the Kingdom’s growing leisure and tourism sector, forming one of the first flagship assets within the wider Qiddiya City masterplan.

Spanning 320,000m², the park features six immersive themed lands containing 28 attractions, including several world-record-breaking rides, alongside 25 retail outlets and 29 food and beverage outlets. Created specifically for Saudi Arabia, the theme park introduces a new evolution of the Six Flags brand, drawing inspiration from local culture and context while delivering a world-class entertainment destination.

Joule Group provided fire life safety strategy consultancy throughout the design stage from concept to technical design and coordinating the approval from the KSA Civil Defence.
